I tried changing my Gravatar on my Battlefield profile but it's not appearing. Why?

I tried changing my Gravatar on my profile for Battlefield. But I can’t, can you please help me?

I believe I am doing it right, but no matter how many times I’ve tried it still doesn’t change. It states to give it up to 10 minutes, but still nothing.

I already have my pictures saved, but for some reason it’s not adding it. I used to have one and then decided to change it, but it never took. I even tried putting my old one back on and still nothing.

Just to make sure we’re on the same page, you’re trying to change your profile picture for Battlefield, not WordPress.com. Correct?
If so, I believe you’ll need to make that switch directly at battlefield.com. I don’t believe Battlefield is connected in any way to Gravatar. Have you tried changing the image directly from your Battlefield profile?

When going into my profile on battlefield there is a link to Gravatar, I had once before set my picture from there. I don’t recall do anything different before.

Sorry about that! I didn’t think the two were related, but it looks like I may have been mistaken. Do you see the image that you want to set as your profile picture at Battlefield uploaded here to your Gravatar profile?

Can you let me know what email you have set under Gravatar email at Battlefield? Step #12 here indicates there’s a specific field within the Battlefield settings:

I have a couple pictures that I have uploaded to Gravatar, and yes they are visible.

Can you try the following?
1. Start on this page:
https://en.gravatar.com/emails/
2. Since you only have one email address associated with your account, ignore step 1. In step 2, you should see several different photos to choose from. Can you let me know what happens if you select one of those photos?

Okay, so I have realized that my Gravatar appears here on the forums, but not on Battlefield. Also none of the other images I have even work on here, nor on Battlefield. The Gravatar that appears on here is the one I started on Battlefield with originally. I wanted to change it, and this is where we are now.

I had this image at one point on my Battlefield profile. I tried to change it and it to different picture and it didn’t change. I then tried to put my original picture of the Hamster back on my Battlefield profile and I couldn’t even get that to work. Yesterday I noticed on here (forums) that my picture of the hamster was showing, so I tried changing it to one of the other pictures that I have uploaded on Gravatar, well it didn’t work. So, I’m not sure if maybe it’s the pictures themselves minus the hamster one that maybe doesn’t work. But regardless, I still can’t change it on my Battlefield profile and I’m doing exactly what it has asked me to do.

I signed up for a Battlefield 4 account to give this a shot, but I’m actually having trouble finding out where to connect my Gravatar account. I hover over my username, and click the My Account link here:
However, when I use the Avatar option shown here, I’m not presented with an option to use Gravatar.com:
Could you direct me to where this option is in your profile so I can give it a try?

You would go to the top right hand corner where your user name is. Then click on it and choose profile. Then you will click on edit profile, once you do that it shows a small box with a soldier in it, on the left of that it say Avatar. To the right of that it states that Avatar’s are provided by Gravatar (To sign up for a free avatar, please visit Gravatar now.)
This is how I initially created my Gravatar account. Do you have Battlefield?

Thanks! I was able to find the area for Gravatar login. Previously, I was logging in under account.origin.com instead of battlelog.battlefield.com.
It looks like there could be a few things going on here:
1. Do you have multiple WordPress.com/Gravatar accounts? Your Gravatar account is automatically synced with the email address you used for Battlefield when you created your account.
2. It looks like Battlefield may take some time to update certain areas. For example, here you can see that the updated image is available in the top right-hand corner of the page, but the Gravatar within the page still shows the old one:
Could you try the following?
1. Start on this page logged in:
http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/profile/edit/edit-profile/
2. From that page, click “Remove Avatar”
3. Enter the Gravatar email connected with gravatar.com/xxxhammyxxx

Okay, so I was able to get my original image on my Battlefield profile, which is great. But for some reason it’s still not letting me change it to the other images. May there be a reason for that?
