I tried to change my domain, and kind of broke my site :(

    Hey There,

    Doing great I hope.

    I recently started a wordpress site, and got hosting and a domain name from bluehost.

    But I then purchased a new domain name, and wanted to use this instead, and I tried to follow a tutorial, but evidently failed something miserable, so I would really appreciate some help.

    What I want to do is, change the domain name of my site to one I purchased from namecheap.com.

    I dont mind if the whole site has to be refreshed, reset, I dont have much on there if that would be easier.

    Perhaps as you pay Bluehost for hosting a site it would have been easier to purchase your new domain there too. As it is you will need to ask Bluehost how to map/connect your new domain to your site.
    This forum assists with free sites hosted at WordPress.com rather than sites hosted at rival companies.
