I tried to change my domain name and now it’s gone.

    Hi WordPress,

    I tried to change the domain name from Fontysrefresh.nl to Fontysconsultancy-Strijp-S.nl and now not only can I no longer log into my admin account, the whole site is gone. I can’t even access the admin site itself!

    Could you please help restore it to Fontysrefresh.nl if you can and return my admin privileges?

    Hi there – It sounds like you changed the Site URL within your WordPress Dashboard settings. Here’s more about how that functions: https://wordpress.org/support/article/changing-the-site-url/

    It’s a fairly common issue to run into, which means there is lots of help available once you know where to look. We’ll help guide you there.

    The forums you are on now are for sites hosted by WordPress.com, or looking to be hosted here. Your site is hosted elsewhere, so you’ll need to try two things:

    1. Reach out to your website host for help – perhaps you’re paying them for some level of support already with your hosting plan.

    2. Search the WordPress community support forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    If you don’t find the solution to your problem in those forums, create a post there to see if you can get some help from the community.
