I tried to transfer my blog to a new name and my blog lost?

  I own a blog writealexthomas.wordpress.com.

  I wanted to change “writealexthomas” to “soulspeak”.

  I went to My Blog section and clicked transfer blog. I wrote the name of soulspeak. After that I got the confirmation that my blog has been transferred.

  I thought that now soulspeek.wordpress.com would be mine. To my dismay I saw the message “Site not activated”.

  Now my old blog in writealexthomas is gone and also I am not able to post in soulspeak.

  Please help me.

  Okay. I’ve got that sorted out for you now. You should be back to normal.

  However, in the future please do not “transfer” a site when you are trying to change the URL. Use these instructions here:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  Also, be advised that once you change your site’s URL, the old site URL will no longer be available for use by you or any other WordPress.com user.
