    i added a domain, not another site

    I tried to switch to a paid plan and link my wordpress.com site (that I’m almost finished building) to an existing domain name that I already own but instead, when I signed up for a paid plan and after I paid, wordpress created a SECOND SITE for me. I don’t want a second site. I want my site that I was building to be connected to my new paid plan and to be connected to my existing URL. I do not want two sites!!!!!!!!
