I tried uploading a blog post and it showed certain error messages which i couldn’t follow. Now the intended blog post is showing ‘uploading’ in the notification section but taking a very long time and not actually moving forward.

Are you speaking of a post you created using the mobile app? If so, what version of the app, and iOS or Android?
What you describe sounds like a connection issue, in which case restarting your phone should fix it – restarting clears the phone’s local connection cache which can sometimes cause issues like this.
After restarting, you’ll likely need to upload the post again from the app.
