I tunes not recognizing podcast episodes
-
Hi,
I have been running a podcast for the past year using blip.tv to host my files and Blogger to post new episodes (which I route through Feedburner.) Blogger will only transmit the most recent 25 posts, so I am hoping I can move over to WordPress (which doesn’t seem to have any such restriction) and have all the episodes show up on iTunes, where the bulk of my subscribers come from.
I have loaded all the files my new WordPress blog, the same way I did over at Blogger, but when I switched the feed source at Feedburner, my iTunes page was suddenly listed no episodes at all. I switched the feed source back to Blogger and everything popped back up, so I feel like I’ve narrowed the problem down to something I’m doing wrong here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don’t want to switch off my Feedburner feed because all the subscribers would get cut off.

It took a while but I finally found something that says that wordpress.COM does NOT support podcasting. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/submitting-to-itunes?replies=3
And when I look at your feed, I don’t see any files in them. So I guess iTunes is reading the same thing I see.
Here is a whole list of forum posts about iTunes. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/itunes

Wait – I found a more recent post that says it can be done. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/video-podcast-038-ituneswordpress?replies=28

Thanks for the quick reply.
Can you see the little Click-me TV icon in my posts? I thought that was a link to my file.

I can see the link in the posts when I’m on your blog. But when I look at your feed, I don’t see a link.

How about asking this guy how he did it? https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/wpcom-and-itunes?replies=2#post-276677
