I turned on article summary rather than full text– how do I get it to stick?
-
I decided to try out showing summaries of articles rather than the full text. I changed the setting but it’s still displaying full text. Part of the reason I did this is so I can preview magazine style blog themes, but it’s not working. Anyone else have this problem? I have logged in and out but that hasn’t made a difference. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You did not change the setting for posts; you only changed the setting for your RSS feed.
Either change to a theme that automatically truncates posts, like Fresh&Clean, or use the More tag http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

Thanks. I’ve been checking out other themes, particularly magazine and news ones that contain one big picture with a few lines of the article followed by several smaller pictures with summaries. When I preview these on my blog, I’m still seeing the full text of each of my articles, so my blog doesn’t look anything like the themes I’m looking at. Why is that? And thank you, as always, for your timely help.
