I typed in wrong mail address when creating my blog

    I have just created my new blog, and managed to type the wrong mail address. Therefore I don’t get the confirmation mail. Can I change the mail address without having confirmed, or do I need to start over from scratch?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,
    I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Post both the wrong email address and the correct one here please. The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

    Hi @kickan71 – When you login to WordPress.com, you should see an option at the top of the page that says “Send to another email address.” Using that option, you should be able to change the address on your account to one you own. Can you give that a try?
