i updated my DNS servers, why cant I map my .au domain name?

  I updated my servers to wordpress.com, i got confirmation from the company that it was upgraded, but when i try to map the domain it says “wordpress cannot register flawlessface.net.au”, why isnt it working?

  Not to worry that just means Staff will have to add the zone record for you and I flagged this thread so they will do that. Then you will be able to follow the instructions to map an existing domain.

  I have manually added a zone record for your domain.

  You should now be able to map it here following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  thanks for your help, but im still receiving the same message that wordpress cannot register my domain.

  Your domain is not reporting any nameservers. Per the guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ they need to be set to:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
