  I upgraded the domain and now the counters of all social networks are zeroed. Is this a temporary situation?

  Unfortunately, that’s normal and there’s no way around it.

  The counters are provided by the social networks and work on the URL.

  As you have changed your URL by adding a domain, there are effectively no shares for the new URLs.

  Can I reverse the purchase in this instance? And will I get all the money back?

  Yes you can, but to be honest, I wouldn’t let share counters prevent you from having a unique personalized domain. It won’t take too long for your counters to grow again.

  If we cancel the domain, it can take up to several weeks, and we can’t guarantee that your domain will be available to you again once canceled.

  If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it.

  Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.

  If you do want to cancel your ownership of the hadzhiev.com domain, please reply to confirm.

  How much time I have to think about it?
  And you mean that if I cancel it now, I won’t be able to claim it some time later on?
  And, finally, will I get all the money back or there’s a tax or something and I’m going to lose some money anyway?

  I consider share counters to be non-essential as I can see who shared what at the social media and social networking sites.

  You have 48 hours from the date of purchase the request a full refund.

  Canceled domains become the property of our registrar partner and are returned to the public market only at their discretion.

  Even then, there’s no guarantee that someone else won’t purchase it first.
