I use mailchimp now & want to get rid of my old email posts!
-
I can’t get rid of my old email posts from my blog since I use mail chimp. I imported every email subscriber in my mailchimp account & still, when I post my blog post, 5 minutes later, every subscriber gets my old email letter. This already happened 3 times. How can I get rid of them, please! I searched all wordpress.com forums & supports & I don’t get rid of it.
Now, I am thinking of stopping my mailchimp account just to get rid of the double emails! I can loose many subscribers this way!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

re: removing inactive subscribers
Please note that deleting an email address does NOT prevent the same person from subscribing again under the same email address or under a new email address. Therefore, the process of removing subscriber’s email addresses is aimed for use when we have subscribers who want to unsubscribe and who have failed to click the “unsubscribe” link on the bottom of the email updates of our posts they receive. Alternatively, it is aimed for use when email subscribers are “inactive”.
You may remove a follower by going to My Site > People and clicking the remove link next to their name.

https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-unsubscribe-someone-from-my-blog?replies=3#post-2487279P.S. The bottom line here is that subscribers control their own subscriptions and we cannot subscribe or unsubscribe on their behalf.

I don’t think that that is the problem. I have all of them in a new list imported on mail chimp but I don’t know how to stop my mails from my blog posts. I talked about the problem at mail chimp & they looked at it & said it was a wordpress.com problem.
I really would like to fix it though. ;) -
Staff will respond here as soon as they work their way through all threads tagged for their attention prior to me tagging this thread.

I already solved the problem myself, by deleting all of my email subscribers myself & checking afterwards with a test blog post & test newsletter on mailchimp! It worked! I tested it out on my dad & me! We didn’t got any old emails anymore! xxx
So, it is solved & I am a very happy woman! xxxx
