I want a custom menu to only display on certain pages

  I am changing over a website to wordpress, and I need to be able to have different side menus, depending on which page of the website visitors are on. I have read that I cannot assign pages to categories…is it possible to have a different menu appear on different pages? I need one menu to appear on several pages, but not on others…

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes it’s possible. You create the menu in Appearance > Menus, then you add Custom Menu widgets in Appearance > Widgets (as many CM widgets for as many pages), set them to display the menu you created, and set the Visibility settings of each widget so that it shows on a specific page.
