I want a Find a Tradesman UK Site – What apps help?

First post here guys. Thanks for reading this if you even got this far. :)
I’m looking to develop a site akin to CheckaTrade or TrusaTrader or MyBuilder using WordPress.
I want a big Post Code Search box, and a big Trade Search Box below it. They enter their post code, pick a trade, and find the nearest listings.
What plugins do I need for this? Are there any examples of sites already that I can take a look at?

Hi there, It sounds like you want a self-hosted site, running on your own hosting, so you can run a geographic-search plugin. These forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com, but you can ask for plugin recommendations over in the WordPress.org forums, which are for for self-hosted folks running the WordPress software on their own hosting:
