I want a new blog and the URL .com is available, but it won't create.
-
I have filled in the fields to create a new blog called letthegirlschoose.com, which is available but when I click on ‘create blog’, the blog address goes blank and stays on the same page. I have been clicking on ‘I want a new blog’ vs ‘I want a new blog for an existing domain’. What am I doing wrong?
I tried to click on the other option of new blog for existing domain name and that results in dialog pages without options to continue and create the blog. I feeling fairly frustrated!
Additionally, I succeeded with a .org address but found difficulty with posting to the site. I want to eliminate the letthegirlschoose.org and have my blog as letthegirlschoose.com
Please help.

Okay, it looks like you’ve registered both letthegirlschoosedotorg.wordpress.com and letthegirlschoosedotcom.wordpress.com.
When you register a custom domain to use with your WordPress.com blog, you need to have an underlying .wordpress.com URL. This means that you won’t be creating a new blog, but you’ll be registering a domain to use with your existing WordPress.com site.
To register letthegirlschoose.com, you’ll want to follow this guide:
