this is not my site
These are the default sites – I have not had access to my actual account, except via a back door on an old laptop. I can’t log in, can’t edit, and now I want my money back. NOW. All of this is happening because I upgraded to Business, and I’m done. Finished.

Hi there,
For what site would you like a refund?
The
rexcurryaccount you’re using to post here has never bought any upgrades from us. Your account owns two free WordPress.com sites, and have three sites connected via the Jetpack plugin, all three on Jetpack’s free plan.If you own an upgraded site with us, the site belongs to a different username account.
If you’re not sure what site the charge is for, please search for the charge at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/. You can also use the Contact Us link on that page to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public forums.

I have disputed the WordPress charge with AMEX
in the amount of $261.30 June 10, 2020, after working hard to gain access to my account reidcurry.netI have also disputed the WordPress charge for $18.00 on June 20, 2020, just to get your attention.
Amex is the only credit card I use, your wpchrg. doesn’t show it, but I have it on my AMEX bill for this month.

First, please don’t list transaction details on the public forum, they can be used to claim account ownership: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form
With that said though, we have no record of that transaction ID in our system, and we don’t sell anything for $261.30.
Who is the merchant listed as, exactly, on the transaction?
-
-
Are you referring to the site
designnet.community? We actually do have a charge for that my colleague found, the transaction ID doesn’t match, but the date and price (must have involved a coupon) do match.
It can still be canceled and refunded, but we will need to receive the request from the WordPress.com account which owns it.
If you do not recall the password for that account, we do have some options for you at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

account recovery takes me to wordpress.com/stats
two sites are there rexcurry.wordpress.com and reidcurry.workpress.com
these were default setups when I transferred reidcurry.net from network solutions to this simple blog location.when I open this reidcurry go to the meta login it fails — asks for the password and it fails I tried add new site and I endup in a circular jetpack login in please just find me
I mean the site is there as a blog I just want my money back cause this ain’t cool

We cannot simply cancel and refund another account’s purchase because someone else requests it, I’m sorry.
We will need you to be logged in as the account which owns the site and purchase, this is not the account you’re currently logged in as.
We have some options for you at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/ and if you can provide neither of the proofs there, please send an email to
passwordhelp (at) wordpress (dot) comexplaining the situation, and we’ll see if there’s anything we can do for you. -
I have been down that rabbit hole on recovery never did an SMS and not authlink to be found
— the only thing left for you is to find out who at WP gets the notices from AMEX on disputes. Its the only way I can think of to prove that I’m rex curry of reidcurry.net
I fully understand. I exported all the data a while back so there’s that…
-
-
so the email went with everything I had from wp to that help address
oh, and I found a way in, but the password change takes me to the empty site, junk I did to see if I liked it…

If you mean you logged in under the correct account, all we need to see is a reply here from the account, and we’ll process the refund for you, as long as there’s not an open chargeback dispute (we cannot process refunds under an open dispute).

https://wp.me/P9TTsx-S goes to https://www.reidcurry.net have a look
The best I can do is put a post on my home page. I stuck a paragraph on it. It is a brief letter to you outlining my complaint. The way I got in was on an old laptop. How do I reply to you from the dashboard?
While on the site reidcurry.net blog, the “help” link goes to .org.
Say you don’t suppose reidcurry.net is still…
Nah, I have access to all those pesky plugins. By the way, you are the first to really help. I don’t know who gets the WordPress password help email, but I put the AMEX charge, receipts # from WP. Hope that produces something.
-
https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing has nothing listed
https://wordpress.com/help?site=reidcurry.net doesn’t help -
found another receipt
[redacted]
this one recognizes the domain name transfer from Network Solutions to WordPress.com
All I’m trying to do is log in on my new PC as this puppy is on its last legs

Hi there,
I redacted the transaction ID information you provided, but that is sufficient proof that you own the upgrades. I can go ahead and issue you a refund for all of those charges and canceled your subscriptions.
However, in order to recover the account, we’ll need to discuss this in private with the account recovery team since it deals with personal information like your email and the transaction ID.
If you could please fill out our account recovery form, The Accounts Team will assist you.
You can use the transaction ID to submit the account recovery form.
If you are unable to fill out the form, please contact our Account Recovery Team directly at
passwordhelp@wordpress.comPlease visit our support page for more information on recovering your account.
Thanks!
