I want a sidebar
-
I want a sidebar that will serve as a sitemap, listing out all my pages, parent and children pages. Do I just need to change my theme or can I add one in somehow?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Some themes are not available for custom changes. It’s better for you to choose the right type of theme that suit your needs. Hope it helps.

Every theme has the same widget options for your sidebar, what you’re looking for is the “Pages” widget.
In your Dashboard menu you’ll find the link to the widgets page under “Appearance”. Find the “Pages” widget and click on “Add”. It will now appear in the widget column, move it to where you want it then click the save button. Reload your blog and you’ll see a list of all your pages in the sidebar.

You know what? We cannot tell if you need to change themes, because we cannot see what theme you’re using. Please give us a link to the blog, starting with http, when you ask a technical question in the forums.

And no, not every theme has widgets at all. And in some, you can’t remove certain widgets. It’s a fiddly thing.

Thanks for the help. I did find the “page’ widget, which gave me exactly what I needed. http://www.shutches.wordpress.com
