I want a theme that will enable me to have several tabs that will link to topics

  For example, if you look at The Huffington Post, there are tabs or bottoms or links on top of the page under the masthead that take the reader to different pages (like politics) and on each page (politics) are articles, posts, links , etc, on that topic. Is there any way to set up any theme like that? I love the 2011 theme but I can’t seem to modify to to look like that . Any suggestions to anything that will come close to that goal. I’m more interested to being able to write on a several topics on one website, that wedded to a particulate theme. I have limited time and really want to get going. as each day in the election cycles, especially after the republican debate tonight makes my head want to pop off.

  You can do this by setting up a custom menu, then adding category pages to your custom menu. Just make sure when you want to post about a particular category (e.g., ‘politics’), you assign the ‘politics’ category to that post.
