I want a website not a blog…

  Hello,
  I have set up a site and got my theme, and menus etc. But I can’t seems to change the pages so that they are ‘website’ style pages instead of blog pages. There will be a blog section, which is in that style, but for all the other pages I want them to be more or less static pages which I can edit. Does anyone know where I’m going wrong!?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You need a clear comprehension of the differences between pages and posts: https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  If you want to build a site, set the front page to use a static page you create: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
  Then, simply don’t use the Posts functionality – just stick to Pages.
