need help in my school website,

i need to add a page to my school website in which students can easily find out there weekly/monthly report,

–let me explain it briefly, if a student land over result page, now i want him to search in a search-bar his roll number and the result get show up, please help me, how should i add such page?

Hi,

Here’s an example of a list of students numbered 1-5, linking to their respective reports. The href identities in the code represent the destination URLs of the links, in this case the respective reports for each student.
```

<a href="Report, student 3">3</a>
<a href="Report, student 4">4</a>
<a href="Report, student 5">5</a>
```
If each student page is to include multiple monthly reports, then the links to student pages might look like the following:
```
<a href="student 1 page">1</a>
<a href="student 2 page">2</a>
<a href="student 3 page">3</a>
<a href="student 4 page">4</a>
<a href="student 5 page">5</a>
```
And each student’s page might have an index to the monthly reports of the form:
```
<a href="student 1, January report">January</a>
<a href="student 1, February report">February</a>
<a href="student 1. March report">March</a>
etc.
```

thanks for your time, but i am going to create a new website for my school, i want a portal like web page, in which students can easily search there roll number and find out their result in seconds, thanks

check the above link and go their go the medical entrance test, search a roll number(1122) you will get the result, i want this thing

That example involves a link which opens a popup module that contains a search box which limits the search to only items in a specific category.

I’m unaware of any WordPress.com theme that would include this feature, or allow something of this kind to be added to it. There are popup plugins available for self-hosted WordPress.org sites. Some such plugin might do the trick. Perhaps WordPress.org would be more appropriate for your projected site.
