I want ads on my wordpress.com site

    I have tried over the years to monetize my site. It is bigger and better each year with a bigger readership everytime I try to get ads (which I always had on Blogger) I get told my site doesn’t meet your requirements? So here I am trying again. I WANT ADS! Please help. And if you reject me again please be very specific as to why and what I need to do to change this other than to transfer my blog somewhere other than WordPress

    Our advertising partners do have a minimum traffic threshold. Looking at your page views, it’s not possible to earn meaningful earnings given your traffic levels. A site generally needs thousands of page views each month to earn meaningful earnings. As your traffic grows we will continue to apply to get ads activated, there is no need to re-apply.

    I want to strongly emphasize sharing your blog with your friends and family. If they like it, they’ll share it with their friends, and so on.

    Thanks thats’ what I get every year funny how on Blogger I had less views yet tons of ads? My numbers are way up from last year so I thought I’d try…been doing this for 8 years it’s been shared and shared again so I guess I need other ways of building traffic or to stop blogging ….

    Blogger is owned by Google, which is primarily an advertising company, so of course they’ll put ads on everything, it increases their inventory and value to their advertising partners.

    Our advertising partners are a bit more picky.

    So first off what you say about Blogger is interesting but the fact is I made money on Blogger and I make none here. In addition the appearance of ads gives the blog a feeling of credibility and professionalism which I feel increases readership. Also I just checked my stats I have over on average more than 2000 views a month, so your comment dismissing my blog as poorly read is not true. By your criteria my blog qualifies as I have thousands of views a month. Unless I am reading the stats incorrectly? Thanks for that link I have my blog link to Facebook and Twitter and I Instagram and am starting an ancillary Tumblr for promo purposes. I will try and be more Fresh so maybe WordPress will feature a piece and after years of being resistant to Stumbleupon I guess I need to engage them. But PLEASE answer me – if I have thousands of views a month why are your advertisers so fussy?

    We cannot reveal the exact minimum, but you’re about half-way there.
