i want home page to be cleaner

  When someone comes to humanscienceinstitute.org, I want them to see the name, logo, and the horizontal menu — no blog posts. How do I eliminate them from the home page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The easiest way to do that would be to follow the front page instructions here:

  https://wordpress.com/themes/sela

  Here are the major steps:

  1. Setup a new page and assign it the Front Page Template in the Page Attributes box.

  2. Set a Featured Image for the new page that we just created.

  3. Create another page titled “Posts” or “Blog”

  4. Navigate here:

  https://humanscienceinstitutedotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

  5. Set the first page as the Front Page and the Posts/Blog page as “Posts Page”
