If you don’t see Kubrick in the results, you don’t have access to it.

Kubrick is available on any site created before its retirement date. As jusjennifer said, if you don’t see Kubrick as an option in your theme search page, then your site was created after Kubrick was retired and does not have access to it.
Kubrick is an old, non-responsive theme that does not automatically adjust to mobile devices. Its text is also too small on modern high resolution devices. For a better experience for your visitors, I’d suggest you look for a newer responsive theme instead. A few two-column themes you may want to look at:

Is that the general rule for retired sites? I thought the requirement for access to a retired theme was that it had been activated on the site previously.

No, a retired theme needn’t have ever been active on a site for it to be accessible on that site.

Thank u everybody. I think kubrick theme is appropriate for my blog and i was needed it for my new blog anyway this is not a big problem.
