I want link snapshots
-
I know that this was a feature that was automatically part of wordpress.com but was apparently taken off due to numerous complaints? Is there a way to turn it back on. I simply want a preview screen to every link I post.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
Sorry but it was a third party extra feature that has been removed. No you cannot turn it on as it no longer exists on this platform. No there is no alternative we can use that I am aware of. -
Hi. To my knowledge, there’s no way to turn it on again.
Mods: perhaps move this to the Ideas forum (as a suggestion from strangeone1 to resume mShots support?)

P.S. I don’t know why this thread has been “modlooked”. I didn’t flag it.

~~timethief… We answered almost at the same time. I modlooked, thinking it would be good (see explanation above)

Ok, thank you. Don’t want to sound odd but how difficult is it to design your own snap shots app for this website?
Some of use want to have a blog that is based on sharing links to other websites. I personally would like a link sharing setup similar to the one on FB. That is: link, blogger comment, and user comments.

I am thinking that you probably cannot design anything that will not contain restricted code which the software will strip out. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

@timethief: Ah-ha. It looks like the mShots website is down now. Perhaps they discontinued the service…

@airodyssey
It looks that way but I can’t say for sure. I disabled it early on when my readers expressed their unhappiness about running their mouse over a page and unexpectedly experiencing pop-ups and advertising. I also found Mshots annoying so I immediately disabled it when I got complaints. -
