Can you point out an example of this? Which theme are you using? Themes use various means of identifying text links: underscore, dotted underscore, highlight, color or shade differences, italics. On your post Primitive Deconstruction, it looks like the theme has used italics on the date and the author name to indicate that they are links.

Hi there,
Thanks for taking the time to help =)
Unfortunately, the links page doesn’t help, and the example you use on that post, I put the entire sentence in italics, it’s not just the link that appears this way.So for my example on this page:
the words ‘this essay by Georgia Vraketta’ are a link and there’s no way of knowing until you run your mouse over it… I need the link to show as a link on the pages, I don’t want it to be a game of hide and seek >.<
I think it would be a shame if I had to change template for this one issue =(

I hadn’t suggested that you couldn’t use italics on other text, if it is used automatically for the date and author links.
the words ‘this essay by Georgia Vraketta’ are a link and there’s no way of knowing until you run your mouse over it
Thank you for that example. That certainly illustrates the problem. If it’s a design choice by the authors, then it’s an odd one. I will add a tag to call for staff attention.

Hi @oldmanbones, that’s interesting. I noticed the demo does show different link colors, like https://pictoricodemo.wordpress.com/2011/07/07/ornate/
It appears to be something just with the color scheme you’re using. I’ll get in touch with the theme developers to see if we can fix this. Cheers!
