I want my Archive to be 'collapsible', i.e. not going back to October 2012 but about 6 mon

  My “Archive” shows every month since I started blogging back to October 2012. But it’s becoming too long – visually – so I’d like it to show 6 months and then a link saying ‘older posts’ or something like that. How do I do that?

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately, this goes beyond the capabilities of the Archives widget and I can’t find a way to make this happen manually either.

  The only way that I can think of without adding upgrades, or too much work on your part would be to put your posts into categories by month/year up to the last six months and put everything else under older. Then add the the Categories widget. But, this would not be collapsible (every post older than 6 months would be under one category. Please note that you would have to create categories for every new month.
