  I can´t find where I can add an image at the home of my blog like the Edin theme demonstration.

  To set up your front page like the Edin demo, here are the steps:
  https://wordpress.com/themes/edin/

  Scroll down to the area where you see, “Custom Page Templates > Front Page Template.”

  Those instructions will walk you through the process!
