-
Yesterday I tried to set up a new blog but may have done it wrong. I want my domain name to be My Paper Ink Love, not my name of Tracy Bygate. I already purchased.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Are you looking to register the domain: mypaperinklove.com?
If you are, I can cancel the domain: tracybygate.com, but please note that this is different from other upgrades and is stated during the purchase process.
Canceling a domain at this time means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.
You are welcome to keep your domain with us and update the nameservers to point to another hosting provider by following this guide:
After 60 days from the date of purchase or registrant contact information change, you may also transfer your domain to another registrar by following this guide:
If you would like to completely cancel your ownership of the domain name, please reply to confirm.
Once you cancel that, I can free up your Premium upgrade to register the new domain within Premium so you don’t have to pay.

I am sorry, I really don’t understand what you mean. I don’t want my domain name to be tracybygate I want it to be My Paper Ink Love which is what I thought I bought.
Will it all cost the same if I cancel and have what I wanted? -

Do you want the domain: mypaperinklove.com?
You must have it end with something like .com, .net, or .org. You cannot just register a domain without it.
Also please confirm that you want to completely cancel: tracybygate.com.

yes
mypaperinklove.comyes please cancel tracybygate
and can you take this off public message -
I have canceled tracybygate.com. You can now register you new domain by going to Store > My Domains in your Dashboard. Just click Register a New Domain and add:
mypaperinklove.com
Follow the instructions after that.
As for deleting threads, I’m sorry, but that would not be possible.

Just to be clear, you now want to cancel the domain: mypaperinklove.com and the Premium upgrade?

I would like to transfer to hostgator.
Do I have an IP address and a control panel url.
I am trying to follow directions from a class I am taking and I did it wrong.
I would like a refund because it is just too hard to do it like this.
So yes, I just want to cancel.
Thanks

and I would like a refund.
Please let me know if i will get a refund first. Thanks
Tracy

The refund period on the domain has passed, so you can’t get a refund on that, but you can get a refund on the rest of Premium ($73).
I would like to transfer to hostgator.
You can’t do this if you want to keep the domain. Please note, ICANN (the governing body over domains) places a 60 day lock on all new domain registrations and renewals to prevent fraud. This is a requirement placed on all domain registrars, so there is no way to waive it.
You would have to keep it registered with us. You are welcome to keep your domain with us and update the nameservers to point to another hosting provider by following this guide:

Ok, I understand.
I guess I want to just get a refund on the premium part, the $73.00 dollars.. I will figure this out somehow. If the dog with a blog can do I guess I can, except he is a golden retriever and they are really smart.
:)Thanks

Sounds great. You have been refunded and it has been removed from your account. Please note that it may take up to a week for the refund to show up in your bank account.
