I want my blog web address changed!!!!!

  I want my blog web address to be changed to stephanieisfancy.wordpress.com how can this happen?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Since you have no real content on the current blog – just register the new name

  Dashboard >> My Blogs >> Register new blog

  You can have more than one blog on an account

  Then transfer the one Post to the new blog (copy & Paste)

  Set the old blog to “Private” if you want and use it for testing or maybe you will want the name in the future – once a name is deleted it is gone forever

  Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading >> I would like my site to be private, visible only to users I choose

  Never can tell when you might want to try something without messing up the real blog

  What do you want to change it to? If you want to eliminate “wordpress” from the URL, then you need to buy a Custom Domain for $5 and the Mapping upgrade for $13. http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-a-domain/

  If you just want to change it to a different whatever.wordpress.com URL, then the instructions are here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/ but I warn you: the old URL basically gets deleted and you can NEVER use it again. Instead, I recommend just setting the old site to Private, registering the new URL like a brand new blog from your Manage My Blogs page, and importing your content there.
