I want my categories to show up on pages

  So I have a Main Menu with my pages and then the categories are organized into a drop down as you hover over each page. I want to be able to click on the page “Food” and the categories be listed on the page so you can see the latest “post” on each category and then click which category you would want to go in. I am no sure how to do this and I have been trying everything.
