I want my domain name back
-
I have a website with you (a blog). I bought a domain name a few weeks ago. Then I decided to delete this website to start over with Wix (it is, in my opinion, more user friendly). I thought I would just buy it back once on Wix (I did not know, at that time, that I could just transer it). Except that it seems like my domain name is locked. And I want it back. Please unlock it so I can choose it with Wix. I need it now.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I notice this thread is tagged with modlook in the sidebar for a Staff follow up. What is the domain URL please?

Can you unlock it for me? I would really need this ASAP as I have a potential employer who would like to take a look at what I do…

The domain will have to be restored to your WordPress.com account. Then after it is 60 days old you can transfer it to another provider.
Editing the name servers will allow you to point it to a new site in the meantime.
Information about name servers: [redacted]
Domain transfers: https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/
I’ve restored the domain to your account and you’ll see that it’s working again. Write back with any other questions.

You wrote : “Information about name servers: [redacted]” but I need a user name and a password to access this page.

I could not wait for the 60 days to be over and the link did not work. I needed a .com right away. I just deleted everything and changed my domain name slightly. BTW, it really is complicated to reach you guys… If not for this nice fellow on the other forum, I would have never been able to reach you with the special keyword on this forum. You should really make your customer service easier to find.

Hi lasimplificatrice,
This link explains how to point the name servers for lasimplificatrice.com to Wix until the domain is ready for transfer:

The other link was sent in error, sorry!
