I want my Mailchimp opt-in form to appear on my sticky landing page.

I am trying to make a Mailchimp opt-in form appear on my sticky landing page. I’ve followed instructions in various threads but it just publishes as code. What to do.

Depending on the type of code offered, we may not be able to display it.
Can you please link me to the post displaying the problem?

This is just a practice page. Thanks for your help. -
Yes, we have to filter that type of form code for security reasons.
I recommend just linking to an unsubscribe page instead, or just using our own email subscription options.

Is it possible to put a Mailchimp opt-in form on a wordpress.org landing page?
Can I put up a button on wordpress.com and link that with a Mailchimp opt-in?
I definitely need to stick with Mailchimp and will probably set up a non-wordpress site if I can’t have an opt-in form on my landing page. Here are the other options Mailchimp gives me:HTML link to subscrib form: <!– // MAILCHIMP SUBSCRIBE CODE \ –>
Subscribe to our newsletter
<!– \ MAILCHIMP SUBSCRIBE LINK // –>
or
Subscribe form URL: http://eepurl.com/hdA7-/Any hope? Thanks for your help.

There are no restrictions on the type of code you can insert on a self-hosted installation of WordPress, from http://wordpress.org/
If you want to create a page hosted elsewhere using that signup form, you could always add a link to it from your WordPress.com homepage.
