I Want My old Theme Back!
-
I had the same theme for the last six years and was tired and tipsy trying out some new ones and now I can’t go back. Please help. I can’t remember what it’s called and it’s not listed anymore. I had a dozen of so menus before a small panel six of my smoke drawings. it was a dark background with blue fonts. Please Help! (kind of lin ‘Escutcheon’ but better–I used this one as a place holder until I can get my old one back. I promise I’ll never mess with it again!

Hello!
Are we talking about this website: https://kelleybrannonprojects.wordpress.com/ ?

Hey!
It looks like the theme you were previously using (Vostok) has been retired. We don’t typically recommend using retired themes since they no longer support new WordPress.com features (this is especially apparent when browsing on mobile), but if you’ve used a theme in the past and it has since been retired, you should still have access to it on your blog.
Try checking out this link to the old theme and see if you’re able to activate it from here: https://wordpress.com/theme/vostok/
You may also try activating it from your WP Admin Dashboard here: https://kelleybrannonprojects.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?search=vostok
Recommendations for themes that are still supported and have some similarities to Vostok could be:
Typo – https://wordpress.com/theme/typo/
Elemin – https://wordpress.com/theme/elemin/
Saga – https://wordpress.com/theme/saga/
Edda – https://wordpress.com/theme/eddaFor each of these, you can customize the colors of the theme in the “Colors and Backgrounds” section to create a darker theme, much like the one you were using previously.
Please let me know if this helps!

Yay! your second suggestion worked. Thank you so much! The format, fonts, lay out, etc. is so much cleaner and easier to navigate than the newer one. I’m very attached. Thank you so much for letting me keep it and I’ll never stay again! This is why I love wordpress!!
