    Hi there,

Could you be a bit more specific? When you paste a youtube link in a blog post by default it will generally embed automatically, so the window which shows has the typical “Watch on YouTube.com” button in the lower right hand corner of the video. Clicking in the window will make it play or pause it.

Are you looking to just have a link which will link directly to YouTube or are you looking to change the behavior of the video player itself? Let me know!

I have copied and pasted the youtube music video into my blog but it is still not a link. Acts like a PDF for the readers.
I likely don’t know something basic.

    Hiya,

Are you talking about this post?

It doesn’t look like this URL is a normal YouTube link. When I go to that address I get a “Not Found” error.

Once you get the correct link, if you would like to absolutely ensure that it embeds the video, you can put it in the YouTube shortcode which follows this pattern:

    [youtube http://youtube.com/watch?v=oZRh6J9ezfw]

The bit of code after the “v=” is a unique identifier that each YouTube video gets. Your video should have one as well. You can find it by visiting your video on YouTube and looking in the location bar.
