I want my WordPress blog to be a subdomain
-
I bought akaHealthyLife.com via NameCheap and will use it with my Kartra landing page to promote my business; Kartra needs for me to use this primary domain, and not a subdomain.
– I also want to create a WordPress blog and connect it with my Kartra landing page. I was informed the WordPress blog cannot be the primary domain (thus my need for a subdomain), so that I can connect Kartra with the blog.Question: do I need to buy this subdomain? (the ‘blog.akaHealthyLife.com’) I’m confused on the check-out page on WordPress.com
TIA :-)

Hi @akl2088 ! Welcome to our community. You won’t need to purchase a subdomain. Here’s how you’ll want to set that up instead:
A subdomain has an extra piece of text before your main domain. For example, if your domain is yourgroovydomain.com, you can create subdomains such as blog.yourgroovydomain.com and shop.yourgroovydomain.com which you can use with a separate website. This guide will show you how to connect a subdomain to your site. Getting StartedConnecting a Subdomain to Your WordPress.com SiteIf the domaiIf you need help, just let us know! Cheers!
