I want only links to child pages visible, which are set by myself.

    I want to write pages with child pages. The text on the pages is long and shall include individual (handmade) links to the child pages. I don’t want that the child pages are listed automatically at the end.

    I use the MistyLook theme. Parent pages are listed with the header, which suites me fine.

    If I give the child pages to different parent which are not published, the child are not publishes either and I cannot like to them. If I publish the different parent it is visible on the header.

    Therefore I need a way to publish my childs to get a viable link but I don’t want that the child is visible without my linking and I don’t want any other links visible.

    Any Ideas ?

    Have you tried excluding pages?

    How do I find page ID numbers?

    yes that could work, but you have to use the widget, haven’t you ? So it would be visible on the sidebar and if I could prevent that I would.
