i want resonantspace.wordpress.com which is taken but not being used

  Hi – I would love to be able to use resonantspace.wordpress.com for my art blog (currently at ofresonantspace.wordpress.com) – which hasn’t been used since it was registered in february. I wonder if you could contact the owner and ask them to either use it – or give it to me? I hope this doesnt conflict with your ‘recycling blog names’ policy.

  For the blog name, I’m sorry but we have a policy of not re-using deleted or inactive usernames and domains and so we cannot give you the blog name outright.

  There is also a paid upgrade option for setting up custom domain names if that is interesting to you. It lets you map a personalized domain name without “wordpress” in it to a WordPress.com blog:

  If you would like to try contacting the blog owner, you can attempt to leave a comment asking how to get in touch with them and then ask them if they would be willing to transfer the blog to you if they respond.
