I want start all over again

  I have been having some issues with my blog and I wish to either start all over again or go back to the original default settings but don’t really know how to go about it. Any kind assistance towards resolving this issue will be highly appreciated please, thanks

  You can empty your site contents by following the instructions in this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/ and start afresh.

  There is nothing called default original settings. So there are not settings to reset. There is only content to reset.

  Let me know what specific problems you are facing with settings so I can try to help you.

  Thanks once again. The problem am facing is that anytime i logged into my site to read, add pages and or blogs, some pages will appear from both left and right sides of the site that usually prevent me from doing anything from the site. i may not know whether i have touched something in the settings, probably markdown which i can’t access to reset it again. your assistance is always appreciated, please. thanks

  Sounds like you may have some widgets but I can’t see any on your blog.

  You can check if you have any widgets on your sidebars here: https://mydigitalwriters.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php and remove them from the sidebars.

  Or you can chuck the existing site and start a new site from this page: https://wordpress.com/start?ref=calypso-selector
