  Can you tell me what you’re trying to do that requires the IP address?

  If you’re perhaps trying to use a domain you’ve registered somewhere else with your WordPress.com site, an IP address isn’t going to help you.

  To use your own domain you need to add our Domain Connection upgrade, included in all our paid plans. Once you’ve added that upgrade, you’ll be taken to a screen showing the correct DNS records you’ll need to add to point the domain to us from your domain provider.
