I want this wirdget!

    I have seen many themes which have a widget where you can click on recent comments and the recent comments are shown, then you can click recent posts and the recent posts replace the recent commens and so on.

    Is this a widget or a plug-in, and in that case, where can I find it? :)

    Are you referring to a wordpress.COM blog? If so please post the URL for it starting with http://

    Some widgets we have for wordpress.COM were specially made for us and are not included in wordpress.ORG installs. That’s why we need the URL.

    If you have a wordpress.COM blog then the Recent Posts and Recent Comment widgets are found here > Appearance > Widgets
    You simply drag them out of the Available Widgets box and drop them into the Sidebar box(es) and then click the right corner of the widget to open it. Set it up to your liking and then click “Save” and “Close”.

    Note: If you have not previously moved any widgets on the blog then you will have to drag and drop every widget you want into the sidebar widgets boxes, open them, set them up, and click “Save” and “Close”. Why? Because every theme has an artificial default display of suggested widgets that won’t appear here > Appearance > Themes > Sidebar boxes and when you move a single widget your choice will make the default display disappear. So we simply drag, drop and set all the widgets of our choice in one go.

    I was trying to understand, but I didn`t quite get it. I am not sure if you know what I mean :)
    I have my own domain, and I am googling for new themes. Like this one

    As you can se the theme have a “box” where you can choose to view either recent posts, recent comments or popular tags.

    Did you mean this?

    In that case I will try your “manual” :D
