    i want to add a new person as an editor to my blog how to generate a password for him

    That person will need to create his own wordpress.com account with his own email, username and password. He can do this without having to create his own blog. On the page where he has to choose his blog URL, just click on the link that says to continue without creating a blog.

    Once he’s done that, you go to Users ->Invite New in your dashboard. Enter his username or email in the space provided and sent the invitation.

    Then he will have to go to his email account and click the link in the invitation email to accept the invitation. When he clicks the link he’ll be taken to your blog’s dashboard and will be able to create, edit and delete posts, pages and comments (editors can do anything short of changing the appearance or deleting the blog, so make sure whether you want to add him in that role).
