    Hi there,

There’s many ways to add an image to a wordpress.com site. Here’s a support link that discusses a few of them: https://wordpress.com/support/images/

    A few other notes:
If you want to add the image into a footer so it’s visible on every page. You can add an image widget into your footer to accomplish that, or a custom HTML widget if you wanted to change its size or positioning. Here’s a support link that discusses adding widgets to the sidebar or footer, depending on what your theme supports: https://wordpress.com/support/images/

If you require more specific assistance, feel free to reply back here.

The image that I would like to add is a link and not a photo. When I sent the link above to you it transformed into the image and that is the image the I would like to add to my webpage. Because it is a link and not a image on my end I am uncertain about what to do.

These are the instructions that it gives however I am uncertain about the editor

“Paste the code into your web page editor or ask your webmaster for help.”

And this is the link that it is speaking of:

Its not a photo image that I would like to add. It is in the format of a link once posted it is suppose to look like the image above.

Its ok I already figured it out. The link needed to be added to the edit page in order for it to show up on the static page. I could add it to the top. bottom, and middle if I wanted to and the button automatically links to the other site. Again it was not a picture that I wanted to add it was a web address “Link” I already figured it out and no need to respond, thanks anyway.
