I want to add another domain to my account

    I need help with understanding my account and how to add another domain name. Do I have to do another NEW account?

    Hi @robielynn210817, not at all. Are you adding a domain to the existing site, just as an extra / new domain, or do you want to create a new site altogether?

    If you want to start a new site, you can start here:
    https://wordpress.com/start

    If you want to add a domain to the existing site you’ve listed, can you log out, and log back in using the email address that gets renewal reminders / invoices / etc for the site you’ve shared?

    Once you’re in the right account, go to
    https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/burlapanddaisies.com — you can choose to add another domain there. And if you need any help, just reach out here:
    https://wordpress.com/help/contact

    I would like to add a new site completely. I wasn’t sure if there is a way for one user to have more than one site, a discounted rate, or if it’s treated just like a NEW SITE and user.

    You can create as many sites as you want within the same WordPress.com account. :) You can get started at https://wordpress.com/start or by choosing a plan at https://wordpress.com/pricing

    Please note that your existing site at burlapanddaisies.com is not hosted by us at WordPress.com. It’s a self-hosted WordPress.org site that’s currently hosted by GoDaddy.

    There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.

    If you go to https://wordpress.com/start or https://wordpress.com/pricing and create a new site, that’ll be a WordPress.com site, not the same as your current WordPress.org site.

    So, I have now realized from your message above and from Showit, who I use as the 3rd party, you don’t host my site, but I just had to pay a renewal in July with WordPress for $300. So I shouldn’t be on that plan from what I am finding out. How do I go about cancelling and is there a change for a refund since I’ve been hosting and integrated with Showit?

    There would be no additional charges should a refund be possible.

    THIS DOES NOT HELP! WHY can I not “speak” to a person regarding my account. I need some assistance in understanding what I was charged for. I do not see an email that was sent prior to the renewal. I do NOT want to start a new post on a forum. I would like HELP! I have JUST found out that I should not have been charged because I integrate with Show it, so I am trying to find out how to CANCEL and see what I was charged for, and how to correct this!

    At WordPress.com, you must be logged into the account that owns the upgrade to be able to contact email or live chat support and to get help with account transactional information.

    Since we have no history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into (robielynn210817), this is why the only option you have at the moment is to post to the public support forums.

    You would need to log out of robielynn210817 and log back in under the account that made the purchase.

    Otherwise, you enter the charge details at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ and we should be able to help you with this.

    The transaction ID needed will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:

    WordPress XXXXXXXXXX
