I want to add another item next to 'about' to click on

    How do I add another section for followers to ‘click’ at the top, next to where it says ‘about my blog’? I tried adding one in the menu section, but when I clicked on it, it showed one of my posts. I want to be able to edit and make it separate from the front page blogs posts. I am not tech savvy, so this is confusing to me at times. Thank you!

    Hey there,

    Could you please tell me what item you want to appear next to About in your menu?

    If you would like to add another page (Contact Me, for instance), you do need to create the page, and publish it first. Then, you can add the item to your menu using the steps seen here:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

    It also looks as if you might have created the page, “Chicken bacon ranch sandwiches,” as a page inadvertently. It seems as if you might have wanted this to be a post instead:

    Yes you are correct about the chicken sandwich page, no idea how that happened but I meant for it to be a post not a page. Can I change it to a post? Thanks so much!

    You can simply copy the text from the page, and paste it here:

    It looks like you already created the post…but the made a page as well.

    Once your post is published, you can delete the unneeded page:
