I want to add pages that act as organizers for content. Help?

    I know it’s possible to have a static home page…. but if I wanted to organize my posts (like having science facts separated from crafting tutorials) can I give each type of post it’s own page to live in? Kinda like how many food bloggers have a dessert page, dinner page, protein shake page, etc? Thanks!!

    Another detail that may help:

    I’ve made a crafting page already with no complications, but every time I attempt to make a new page, it turns my page into a post. I’m doing it the same way I was before, and it tells me that it’s publishing as a page. When I go to check on it, it’s becomes a post and I don’t get a new page tab at the top of my site.
