I want to add privacy to my existing domain registration

  I have domain registration and mapping until Oct 2015.
  I want to add privacy.
  The form that comes up when I try to upgrade charges me for privacy AND registration (for one year) from today.
  How can I just purchase the privacy registration?
  If I have to purchase the privacy together with the registration what will happen in October?…will I have to pay registration again with mapping?

  When you attempt to add Private registration from this link:

  Are you still prompted to renew the domain rather than just add the private registration?

  Yes, and today I tried to just click and pay, even though I already have registration, and the request was refused because the name is already registered. Is there any way to get privacy added?
