  Hi there. We cannot add plugins on WordPress.com and there is no upgrade that will give you that ability: http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  The widgets we can add for extra functionality on WordPress.com are listed under Appearance ->Widgets in the dashboard. If it’s not listed there, you can’t add it. See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/category/widgets-sidebars/

  Other plugins are only available on self-hosted WordPress.org websites, which are completely separate and different from WordPress.com: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
