  I’m a member of top mommy blogs. I want to upload an image/banner that my readers can click on to vote for me.

  where do I go to download it and how do I attach the link to the image?

  You should be able to download the image from the website that created the top mommy blogs banner.

  Once you have download it, you can add it to your media library and copy the image URL:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/

  Then you can enter the image URL into an image widget:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/

  Okay, so I’ve done both of these things, but when I think I’m all set and go to my Home Page to view the sidebar image…..it’s not there!?

  The image widgest says “Vote for me” like it’s supposed to, and there is a box where the image should be, but all there is in the box is a little red X……yet, when you click on the little red X, it does bring you to the website I’ve linked the image to.

  I don’t understand why my image isn’t there???

  You included http://tmb-150x50_vote_banner3.gif for an image URL. That’s not actually a URL, just a filename with http:// before it.

  Please try the full URL.
