I want to be a validator for Telugu
-
Hi,
I have been contributing to wordpress.com translation to my native language Telugu. My translations are approved by the validators without any issue. Can somebody make me a validator so that I can translate quickly?
-
Thanks for your help in translating WordPress.com to Telugu!
Let me check with the current validators and get back to you. -
-
There are a lot of strings to be validated. And, even more to be translated. I know Ravichandra. I am totally OK for him become another validator.
-
Thanks for your reply, veeven! I’ve now added ravichandra as a Telugu validator for the WordPress.com project.

It would be great if you could work together and build a locale glossary and style guide. Let me know if you need any help in the future!

Hi – yes, you should be able to see your name here.
https://translate.wordpress.com/projects/wpcom/te/default“Validators: balu, ravichandra, and వీవెన్.”
Your profile page (https://translate.wordpress.com/profile/veeven) says you are validator to WordPress.com & Gravatar.

@ravichandrae There may be cache issues in the display.
@naokomc Thank you. Regarding the glossary for Telugu, I’ve just created one by importing the glossary from wp.org: https://translate.wordpress.com/projects/wpcom/te/default/glossary/
And for style guide, the one we have for wp.org should hold good: https://github.com/veeven/wordpress-telugu-style-guide
Thanks!

@veeveen That’s great, thank you so much for the info.
I added both to both WordPress.com & WordPress.org resources pages:

Though I become a validator, my translations are still in waiting state.
Please check the following screenshot. -

Weird formatting. Here’s what I meant:
The user ravichandra was added as a validator. It should instead be ravichandrae.
-
veeven, you’re right. I kept making typo – it should be fixed now.
So sorry for the extra trouble everyone! -
Hurray! I can validate the strings now. Thank you naokomc,
you can mark this issue as resolved.
