I want to build a simple simple simple simple website

    I’ve tried other ‘simple’ website builders and they are just appalling.
    Before we go any further just answer me this please:

    All I want to do is open a simple BLANK page and import simple text files and photos and maybe some youtube video links. Can i do this with WordPress SIMPLY? Can I just click on ‘import a file’ import it and have it appear on the website exactly as it was formatted on my computer?

    Hey there @g0ozy , your request got misrouted for some reason.

    It sounds like you want a very visually simple page with just text, images, and sometimes a youtube video. That’s certainly doable if you’re willing to type or paste the text. We have themes that are visually very simple, and you can simplify them further if you’d like.

    You mentioned importing, though. If you still need help, can you share what type of file you’re hoping to import or what method you’re using to create the content prior to importing it here?
